When do you need to change your registration address?

You are required to change your address on your vehicle registration as soon as you move within the province of Alberta. This is usually done when you change the address on your Drivers Licence.

How can you change your address?

When you come into Richmond Road Registry, please bring in the following:

  • Alberta drivers licence
  • Government-issued Photo ID that contains your legal name and date of birth
A new vehicle registration certificate will be produced to reflect your new address.
