WHAT IS A NUANS PRE-SEARCH?
NUANS (Newly Upgraded Automated Name Pre-Search) is a computerized search system which compares a proposed corporate name to a database of existing corporate names, determining the similarity that exists between the proposed name and existing names in the database, and produces a listing of names that are found to be most similar. You may want to do a NUANS Pre-Search as it allows you to search up to three names to see if they are available. If they are, you do not need to do the more expensive NUANS search.
HOW DO YOU GET A NUANS PRE-SEARCH?
For online service: If you are doing the service online, please email or fax (403.246.0647) the above documentation along with the payment receipt number (emailed to you once you complete payment online). Once we receive the above information, we will email or mail the NUANS Pre-Search to you.
